Mrs. Moorman being delivered of a fine son  My sales limited this week wether 
moderated Riecved a letter from R Clement an ------------ on Mildred Jane hurt 
a tolerable good price postage 4/P paid for to Stockton for A H M – today went 
to see Col Christopher Wingfield found him and Lady at home all week John Cook 
s--- at the Col. The C_ girls from home nothing of importance took place after 
dinner returned home and found I had the mail key in my picket consequently 
the mal was not opened  Well this evening as Common

28th Sunday, nothing transpired this week of importance Mr Moorman from home 
the most of the past week Buying tobacco and c sales small and but few persons 
passing  27th bough ½ tobacco 9 I borrowed 6/ of – H Moorman bought 1 for 
shoes of Wm Young 8/3 M----d some of the Brandy into the S--- Room of the 
store today several persons about and some dealing Wm Stockton gone to his 
father with the Mumps well as common
