Sunday March 13th  nothing new weather tolerable Cold past week and nothing of 
note took place except E Botner Tailor commenced work in the office Monday not 
many persons in past week sales small.  Yesterday the people of the 
neighbourhood cleared a road form the top of Che-nut Tarky Cock mountain when 
bl-gs ---- crops to the wards big road to the whites lone ---- lined 2 tobacco 
hogsheads and expect to price tobacco next week well as common to night
Sunday March 203 nothing new past week.  Monday bought a fur hat of Bondurant 
and Taylor for $5 on Credit  commenced prising tobacco last Monday Very 
troublesome business and no help of consequine about  half – expect to finish 
prising next week and some mor  for the past week am well today as common and 
several persons paying and some negroes in dealing a common ----- with A H M  
Saturday March 20th nothing new this week finished prising 2 hogshead of 
tobacco and paid 25ct for mending a flute spring that got broke in my care to-
day we had
