A sale and a lectionaring of candadates potential run very high  I think the 
people are in favour of the white candadates several persons pretty well shot 
in the neck Lewis Bird and John Roberts aprended a good while a bout a child 
that was got in the neighbourhood and went off quarrelling  Sales tolerable 
good  Today
Thursday 31 at home just returned from Bedford went last Sunday and on my way 
lost myself and went about 4 miles out of the way though got to Fathers about 
sunset found all well and my uncle Dick then read a letter that had just came 
to hand from Singelton Kasey to Broher Alexre after supper went to A Ruckers 
and found all well the Miss ----- and Marther Scott there ch--- a while and 
went to bed  Monday went to Bedford Court great many persons in attendance 
Candadates speaking to the people the Candadates were Wm S Goggin Robt 
Campbell Thos Preston and Lewis C Arthur but I am of opinion that Campbell and 
Goggin will be ilected shake to – Ris-ne and Dabny and and they gots the ----
