Married to Jane Meador the 4th ---- at – after – oclock P M not many persons at the marriage came home 5 10 or 15 with us – we went to Wm Dents staid all night b Abel Meadors James Fathers and home the 7th. 9th burnt plant patch sowed 10th balance week Cold been makin loom got the frame together wrote a letter to A Kasey Jr . 13th nothing more but is is cold and snow on the ground Febr 21 Received a letter from Wm B Jones the 16th ---- nothing new in it Started a letter to A Kasey Jr the 16th Commenced clearin on the Carmmickle place. 18th Febr burnt a plant patch the 21st finished making a loom the 18th - ---- all well and Markus King to see us to night March 29th all well except myself have had a pain in my left side which has prevented me from doing any work of consequence for a week but I am in hopes that I am getting well.
