Marcus Whitler (Cloverport, Ky; Whitler's Lot) The Whitler Family Cemetery adjoins the Cloverport Cemetery. So, when my mother died in 1931 Daddy decided to bury her in a lot adjoining the Cloverport Cemetery. Since then, many Whitlers have been buried, including Daddy (James Marcus Whitler, Sr) my brother, William Leonard Whitler, my stepmother Stella Robinson Whitler, my brother, James Wilhite Whitler. I recall that Momma had worked in the farm garden, of which part is now her burial spot. Daddy had pastured livestock on the lot where now he eternally rests. Someday I will be buried in the lot. I am not in a hurry however. The lot has changed since 1931. There is no fence. There is no gate. The evergreen tree is gone. There are now several grave markers. J.
