     The home of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy ADKISSON, Irvington, was the scene of a surprise
party Sunday, for Mr. and Mrs. Elihu ADKISSON, who were celebrating their 59th
wedding anniversary.
     Hosts for the event were their children, the Leroy ADKISSONS, Mrs. Louise
BASHAM, and Wayne ADKISSON.

     Mr. and Mrs. Elihu ADKISSON celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Sunday,
March 14, at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, where Mr. ADKISSON was
taken Saturday.
     The occasion was planned at the ADKISSON home on Sunday, but due to Mr.
ADKISSON'S illness, family members gathered at the hospital, and the hospital
treated Mrs. ADKISSON to lunch.
