Lampton Mrs. Elisabeth Engler Lampton of Louisville, formerly of Hudson, died Sunday, May 30,1999, at Chris­topher East Nursing Home. Her hus­band, Hobart Lampton, preceded her in death. Mrs. Lampton had no survivors. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 2 from Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with burial in St. Romuald Cem­etery Mrs. Zola Lee Ammons 1919-1999 Mrs. Zola Lee Ammons, age 79, of Irvington, died Thursday, May 27, 1999, at Medco Center of Hardinsburg. Mrs. Ammons was born June 3, 1919, in Breckinridge County. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Joe Ammons; a daughter, Reba Milburn, Big Spring; four sons, Walter Thomas Ammons, Glendale, James Leonard Ammons, Irvington, Denver Ammons, Hardinsburg, and Joseph Wayne Ammons, McQuady; two sisters, Nannie Arnold, Guston, and Maxine McCoy, Vine Grove; two brothers, Jack Ammons and Harold "Tony" Ammons, Guston; nine grandchildren, and 10 great­grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, Irving­ton, with the Rev. Julius Lucas offi­ciating. Burial was in Big Spring Methodist Church Cemetery. June 16, 1999 Faith Leann Daley-DeWitt Faith Leann Daley-DeWitt, 14 day old daughter of Tony DeWitt and Nicole Marie Daley, died Sunday, June 13,1999, at Kosair Hospital in Louisville. Faith was born May 30, 1999, at Leitchfield. Surviving other than her parents are grandparents, Camellia Daley, Westview, and Mary and Kelly DeWitt, Cloverport; great-grandparents, Robert and Gracie Coy, Valley Station, and Blanche Carwile, Irvington, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with the Rev. Norman Daley officiating. Burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery. Eugene Secuskie 1931-1999 Eugene Secuskie, age 67, of Guston, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Norton's Medical Pavilion in Louis­ville, following a lengthy illness. Born November 24, 1931 in Bradenton, Florida, Mr. Secuskie was a son of the late Carl Secuskie and Mattie Elliott. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, a Merchant Marine, a farmer, a member of the Custer Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Brandenburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Misako "Dora" Secuskie; one daughter, Belinda Miller, Orlando, Florida; three stepdaughters, Mary M. Powell and Martha M. Shoptaugh, Louis­ville, and Geraldine M. Cole, Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Margaret Thompson, Brandenburg, and four grandchildren, Robin Wayne, Guston, Skye Powell, Nikki Shoptaugh and J.W. Shoptaugh, Louisville. The body was cremated. A memorial service was held Friday, June 11, from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, with the Rev. Bob Cordle officiating. The cremains were placed in Custer Cemetery. William Fentress 1939-1999 William "Billy" Fentress, age 60, of Hudson, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Breckinridge County on March 23, 1939, Mr. Fentress was the son of Mrs. Bertha Tucker of Custer, and the late Homer Fentress. He was a farmer. Survivors other than his mother are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Fentress; a daughter, Tracy Hill, Louisville; three sons, Mike Fentress and Chris Fentress, both of Hudson, and Bra­dley Fentress, Elizabethtown; five sisters, Noreen Lampton, Irvington, Sue McGuffin, Constantine, Wilda Carter, Hudson, Brenda Butler and Patsy Keesee, Custer, and six grandchildren. The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 14 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, Irving­ton, with the Revs. Gerald Elliott and Stanley Shaw officiating. Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery. Mrs. Lillian Hendrick 1921-1999 Mrs. Lillian David Hendrick, age 77, of Cloverport, died Friday, June 11,1999, at her home. Born August 7, 1921, in Breckinridge County, Mrs. Hendrick was the daughter of the late Ezra Davis and Maggie Ford Davis. She was a member of the Calvary Missionary Church in Cloverport, and was a former cook at Riverview Restaurant in Hawes-ville. Her husband, James R. Hendrick, preceded her in death February 10,1976. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Hendrick and Billy Hendrick of Cloverport; a brother, Mitchell Davis of Cloverport; a sister, Ruth Horsley of Cloverport; eight grand­children, and five great-grandchil­dren. Services were conducted Mon­day, June 14 at 2 p.m. from Wallace Funeral Home, Cloverport, with the Rev. Alton Lawhorn officiating. Burial was in Cloverport Cemetery. William Haverin Helm 1913-1999 William Haverin "Sun" Helm, age 85, of Hardinsburg, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Breckinridge Me­morial Hospital. Born August 12, 1913, in Woodrow, he was a son of the late Will Helm and Nettie Adkisson. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War II. His wife, Mrs. Helen Helm, preceded him in death in February of 1999. Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Guill, Union Star; a granddaughter, Kelly Neff, Sample; two great-grandsons, Koty Neff and Kyle Neff, and a sister, Margaret Pile, Hardins­burg. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tues­day, June 15 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, Irving­ton, with the Rev. Jake Huffman officiating. Burial was in the Custer Cemetery. Mrs. Belle French Hunt 1927-1999 Mrs. Belle French Hunt, 71, of Irvington, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hunt was born Au­gust 7,1927. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #264. Her first husband, Douglas B. French, preceded her in death in May of 1991, also two brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her husband, Doral E. Hunt; three sons, D.L. French, Irvington, Thomas W. French, Henderson, and Carl French, Louis­ville; five stepchildren, Robert J. Hunt, Jenny Lynn Cassady, Lucinda Fenton, Daniel E. Hunt, and Evelyn Sosby, all of Indiana; a brother, Roy Berry, Brandenburg; 17 grandchil­dren; 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11 from the Ekron Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Blanc officiating. Burial was in Ce­dar Hill Cemetery, Irvington, with Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg, in charge of arrangements. David Allgood 1916-1999 David Allgood, age 82, of Medco Center, Brandenburg, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, following a lengthy illness. Born December 17, 1916, near Custer, Mr. Allgood was a son of the late Samuel All-good and Leura Lynch. He was re­tired from the auto paint and repair business, was a veteran of World War II, and loved fishing and hunt­ing. Survivors are four daughters, Anita Straub, Shepherdsville, Sue Weatherholt, Lydia Gentry and Lelia Fay Cain, Florida; two sons, David H. Allgood, Dayton, Ohio, and Sammy Allgood, Florida; a sister, Wilma Chandler, Florida; two broth­ers, Alfred Allgood and Paul All-good, Louisville; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at the Bennett Cemetery near Custer, with the Rev. Janet Garden officiating. Alexander Funeral Home, Irving­ton, was in charge of arrangements. Russell W. Isaacs Jr. Russell Walton Isaacs Jr., age 68, of Fairdale, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at the Norton Southwest Hospital, Louisville. The Hart County native was the son of the late Edith Gibson and Russell Isaacs Sr. Mr. Isaacs was a retired enamel spray operator with Porcelain Metals for 41 years, was a member of the Freeway Church of Nazarene in Fairdale, a member of the National Rifle As­sociation, a retired Teamster and was associated with WJCR Chris­tian Radio in Upton. Survivors include three sons, Patrick S. Isaacs, Shepherdsville, James Barry Isaacs and William Isaacs Sr., Fairdale; two brothers, Robert F. Isaacs, Upton, and John B. Isaacs, Bonnieville; three sisters, Mary Ellen Baldwin and Annie But­ler, Bonnieville, and Eva Bruton, Munfordville, and three grandsons, Scott Isaacs Jr., Roy R. Isaacs, and William C. Isaacs Jr. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11 at the Sego Funeral Home, Munfordville, with the Rev. J.D. Sailors officiating. Burial was in the Harned Cemetery. Joe Ammons 1910-1999 Joe Ammons, age 88, of Irving­ton, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Medco Center of Hardinsburg, fol­lowing a lengthy illness. Born July 7,1910, in Breckinridge County, he was the son of the late Sam Ammons and Mary Whitworth. Mr. Ammons was a farmer. His wife, Mrs. Zola Lee Ammons, preceded him in death in May of 1999. Survivors are a daughter, Reba Milburn, Big Spring; four sons, Walter Thomas Ammons, Glendale, James Leonard Ammons, Irvington. Mrs. Catherine Thompson 1926-1999 Mrs. Catherine June Thompson, 72, died Thursday, June 10,1999, at her home in Cloverport. Born in Breckinridge County on August 4, 1926, Mrs. Thompson was a daugh­ter of the late Henry Henderson and Mamie Henderson Dickman. She was retired from General Electric in Tell City, Indiana, and was a mem­ber of the Calvary Missionary Church in Cloverport. A son. Leonard Rush, preceded her in death December 24, 1996. Surviving are her husband, Russell Thompson; two sons, Hughie Rush and Bill Rush, Cloverport; three daughters, Judy Walker of Raifore, Florida, Leasa Sherwood of Louisville, and Johnnie Brickey of Hawesville; a brother, Kinchceloe Henderson, Cloverport; 18 grand­children, and several great-grand­children. June 30, 1999 Mrs. Jacie Carman Mrs. Jacie Marie Carman, age 73, of Hardinsburg, died Wednesday. June 23, 1999, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. Born in Breckin-ridge County, Mrs. Carman was a daughter of the late Frank and Sylvia Butler Robinson. She was a member of the Stinnettsville Community Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, Raymond Carman Jr., Louisville. Bobby Carman, Meade County, and Jerry Carman, Silena. CA; three daughters. Jeanne Bailey, Indianapolis, IN, Sheila Smith and Michelle Dowell. Hardinsburg; two brothers, Morton Robinson, Guston, Roey Robinson, Florida; two sisters, Jean Butler, Brandenburg, and Ann Miller, Louisville; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services were held at I p.m. Fri-day, June 25 from Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with burial in the Harned Cemetery. Mrs. Lottie Trent McAdams 1902-1999 Mrs. Lottie Trent McAdams, age 96, of Louisville, formerly of Irvington, died Saturday. June 26,1999, at Meadow View Rehab Center in Louisville, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. McAdams was born Au-gust 10, 1902 in the High Plains Community of Breckinridge County, a daughter of the late Courtland L. Trent and Minnie Bruner. She was the retired owner of Trent & Simmons Building Supplies in Irvington, was a member of the Irving-ton United Methodist Church where she was organist for many years, and was also a member of the Ambrose Meador Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are a daughter, Madalyn Monroe, Millersville, GA; a son the Rev. Emil McAdams, Louisville; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. June 29, from the Irvington United Methodist Church with the Revs. Dale Carden and Jim Robinson officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Irvington, with Alexander Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Miss Gayle Lynn Skaggs Miss Gayle Lynn Skaggs, age 37, of Gallatin,TN, died Saturday. June 26,1999, at Summer Regional Medi-cal Center in Gallatin. She was born in Daviess County and was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors are her father, Charles Skaggs, Irvington; stepfather, Lyle Moses, Owensboro; two brothers. Charles Skaggs Jr. and Ray Skaggs. both of Portland, TN; two sisters, Verna Cenary of Owensboro, and Evelyn Hines of Portland, TN; eight nieces, and three nephews. Services were held at 2:30.p.m. Tuesday, June 29 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel in Owensboro. with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. James Clinton Drane 1927-1999 James Clinton Drane, age 71, of Greenwood, formerly of Hardins-burg, died Saturday, June 19, 1999. at St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers in Beech Grove. Mr. Drane was born September 17, 1927, in Hardinsburg, a son of the late Tho-mas and Bessie Howard Drane. He attended school in Hardinsburg. He was a forklift operator for Davidson Industries in Franklin for 20 years, was a member of the Christian Church, was a member of the Green-wood Moose Lodge #2079 and the Greenwood Fraternal Order of Eagles. A brother, Thomas Drane, and a half- brother, James Stevens, preceded him in death. Surviving are a son, Terry R. Drane, New Whiteland; two daugh-ters, Sandy L. Richardson of New Whilcland. and Carol M. Fassett of Lilliwaulp, WA; a half- brother. Bill Stevens, Owensboro; four half-sis-ters, Stella Gibson, Franklin, Emma Robinson, Harned. Ruby Aldridge, Garfield, and Mary Haste of Green-wood; five grandsons, and one great-grandson. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23 from the Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
