Mrs. Mildred A. Adkins died Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at Baptist East 
Hospital in Louisville.  She was the former Mildred Edwards and a native of 
Greensburg.  Mrs. Adkins was the owner of Adkins Camp Store at Rough River for 
40 years and a member of Okalona Baptist Church in Louisville.  Her husband, 
William Obe Adkins, preceded her in death.

Survivors are one daughter, Martha parks; one son, Benjamin Adkins; one 
stepdaughter, Lena Wilcox; one brother, Bob Edwards; three sisters, Lucille 
Perkins, Edith Henry and Lois Burns; seven grandchildren, and 15 great-
grandchildren.

Mrs. Adkins was buried Saturday, November 24, at the Edwards Family Cemetery at 
Greensburg.
