Carolyn Ann Adkins, age 71 of Sample, KY died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at her 
residence. She was born in Troy, IN on January 22, 1938, the daughter of the 
late Carl and Adeilla Kessans Fuchs. Carolyn was a homemaker who loved 
spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, reading and working 
puzzle books.
 
She was preceded in death by a brother - Bud Fuchs
a sister - Mildred Boehm
a grandson - Chad Smith
Carolyn is survived by her husband - Alf Adkins of Sample,KY
3 sons - Frank (Regina) Adkins of Garfield,KY
Gerald (Nona) Adkins of Cloverport,KY
Jeff (Krissti) Adkins of Sample,KY
4 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren
2 brothers - Carl and Ralph Fuchs of Tell City,IN
2 sisters - Alice Pannett and Mary Hearst of Tell City, IN
 
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 12PM at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with burial in the Sample Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 
3:30 - 8:00PM and after 8:30AM Monday.
