OBITUARY
Taken from the Louisville "Courier Journal" Newspaper, Jefferson County, Ky
     Charles Carrol ADKISSON, of 1312 Huntoon, (Louisville, Ky), a machine 
operator 7 years for the Anaconda Aluminum Company here, died at 10:00 a.m. 
Tuesday, May 9, 1961 in Norton Memorial Hospital after an apparent heart 
attack.  
     Mr. ADKISSON was 49 years old, and was born in Hardinsburg, Breckinridge 
County, Ky.  He had lived here (Louisville) for about 15 years.  He was a 
member of the Belmont Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee (Davidson 
County).  He is survived by:
his wife, the former Nancy Frances PAINE
one son, not named
one daughter:
Mrs. Carol Jean NEEDY
2 grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Friday, May 12, 1961 from the Heady 
Southern Funeral Home, and burial was in Louisville Memorial Gardens.
