OBITUARY
RODERICK MATTHEW ALDRIDGE  1985-2004
     Roderick Matthew ALDRIDGE, age 18, of Garfield, Ky., in Breckinridge 
County, died on Saturday, January 31, 2004 in Louisville, Ky.  He was born 
October 10, 1985, the son of Margaret MATTINGLY ALDRIDGE and Roderick ALDRIDGE, 
who both survive.
     Matthew was a senior at Breckinridge County High School, a member of the 
Hardinsburg United Methodist Church, member of the BCHS chorus and choral, BCHS 
Pep Club, and BCHS baseball team member.  He enjoyed spending time with his 
friends, music, basketball and baseball.
     He was preceded in death by:
a brother, Ryan Lamar ALDRIDGE
his grandparents:
The Reverend Lamar and Dorothy MATTINGLY
     He is survived by:
his mother, Margaret MATTINGLY ALDRIDGE of Hardinsburg, Ky
his father, Rod ALDRIDGE of Garfield, Ky
one sister
his grand parents, Gene and Ruby ALDRIDGE of Garfield, Ky
his great grandmother, Goldie AQLDRIDGE of Utica, Ky
and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at the Hardinsburg 
United Methodist Church.  Burial was in the Westview Cemetery under the 
direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
