OBITUARY

     Mrs. Bettie Ann ALEXANDER, age 96, died on Saturday, September 21, 1985, at 
her Hardinsburg residence following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Custer on 
January 2, 1889, a daughter of the late Isaac S. and Sallie Ann PILE BRUNER.  Her 
husband, Carlie ALEXANDER, preceded her in death in 1959.
She is survived by:
four nieces:
Mrs. Anna DOWELL of Harned, Ky
Ms. Elizabeth HARRINGTON of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Bessie MILLER of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
Mrs. Ora ASHBY of Byron, Illinois (Ogle County)
two nephews:
Roy HARRINGTON, of Hardinsburg, Ky
James HARRINGTON, of Sebring, Florida (Highlands County)
and several great nieces and nephews
     The funeral was held on Monday, September 23, 1985 from the chapel of the 
Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Bruner Cemetery near Custer.
