Howard G. Alexander, 87, of Louisville died Monday March 7, 2016 
at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville.

He was a member of the Irvington United Methodist Church, a marine 
veteran, a big UK fan, & an avid golfer.

Howard was born January 28, 1929 to the late Charles & Katie Gray 
Alexander. He was preceded in death by his wife Margerene Glasscock 
Alexander. He is survived by a special companion Thelma Trent; his 
children Rosie Fugate, Chuck (Lori) Alexander & a step-son Butch 
Fentress; 2 brothers C.H. (Sue) Alexander, & Leon (Yvonne) Alexander; 
9 grandchildren, & 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday March 10, 2016 at 2 PM EST at 
Alexander Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday March 10, 2016 from 10 AM to 2 PM EST at 
the funeral home.

Expression of sympathy maybe given in the form of donation to the 
Irvington United Methodist.
