OBITUARY, Page 5
     Walter Donald "Donnie" ALLEN, age 68, of Hardinsburg, Ky died Thursday, 
September 25, 2003, at his residence.  Mr. ALLEN was born July 27, 1935 in 
Breckinridge County.  He was the son of the late Joe ALLEN and Evelyn TOMER 
ALLEN, and retired as the district superintendent for Meade County RECC in 
June, 1998, after a 46 year career with the rural electric cooperative.  Mr. 
ALLEN was a member of the Hardinsburg Baptist Church and the Hardinsburg 
Masonic Lodge # 67.  Surviving are:
his wife
one daughter
one son
four brothers
4 grandsons
one step-granddaughter; 2 step-great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Sunday, September 28, 2003 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Old Hardinsburg Cemetery.
