     Raymond W. ALLEN, age 78, died on Thursday, February 18, 1993, at his 
Constantine residence in Breckinridge County.  He was born September 18, 1916, 
in Breckinridge County, a son of Harm and Almeda REED ALLEN.  Mr. ALLEN was a 
farmer.  He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dewayne ALLEN.  Survivors 
include:
his wife, Lucille ALLEN
five daughters
three sons
one step-daughter
one step-son
one sister:
Esther LYON of Custer, Ky (Breckinridge County)
two brothers:
Willard ALLEN of Custer, Ky
Sidney ALLEN of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
11 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; & several great grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 1993 at Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Trent-Smith Cemetery in 
Custer.

#0337 Trent-Smith Cemetery / also known as the Trent-Lyon Cemetery, located off 
Highway 86 at the Church of God; on the Carl LYON'S farm at Custer.
