OBITUARY

     Mrs. Betty ALLEN of Hudson in Breckinridge County, Ky., died at Breck-Haven 
Nursing Home in Hardinsburg, on Monday, August 17, 1970.  Age 83.  Widow of Lonnie 
ALLEN, who preceded her in death some 25 years.  Mrs. ALLEN had been in poor 
health for a number of years.  She is survived by:
four sons:
Oscar ALLEN of Hudson, Ky
Wavie ALLEN of Hudson, Ky
Wesley ALLEN of McDaniels, Ky
Walter ALLEN of Harned, Ky
one daughter:
Mrs. Eugene MONTGOMERY, Leitchfield, Ky  (Grayson County)
one sister:
Mrs. Gola Paul of Vine Grove, Ky (Hardin County)
two brothers:
C. D. LUCAS of Hardinsburg, Ky
Lottis LUCAS of Sellersburg, Indiana  (Clark County)
15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Thursday, August 20, 1970 from the Hudson Methodist 
Church under the direction of the Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was 
in the Hudson Cemetery.
