OBITUARY   Page 4

     Mrs. Elsie ANTHONY, 84-year-old Hudson resident of Breckinridge County, 
died on April 7, 1995, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  She 
was born in Breckinridge County on  April 30, 1910, she was the daughter of 
the late Dennie and Mae CARMAN LASLIE.  Mrs. ANTHONY was a housewife, and a 
member of the Fairview Holiness Church.  Her husband, Rubin Franklin ANTHONY 
preceded her in death in 1978, and a son Thomas ANTHONY, in 1949.  Surviving 
are:
one daughter
three sons
four sisters:
Edna SMILEY of Hardinsburg, Ky
Anna Mae ROBINSON of Hardinsburg, Ky
Selma GAITHER of Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County)
Shellie ROBINSON of Charleston, Illinois (Coles County)
7 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren
     Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday, April 11, 1995 at Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in Butler Cemetery.
