Ronald Maier Apperson, age 68 of Hardinsburg,KY died Thursday, 2-12-2009 at 
his residence. He was born in Champaign, IL on June 27, 1940, the son of the 
late John and Ruth Maier Apperson. He was the retired owner and operator of 
OPS and a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church. Ron loved his animals, 
nature, riding his motorcyle and boating.
 
He was preceded in death by his wives - Cheryl Apperson and Kathy Apperson
 
He is survived by 7 children: Holly Fowler and Jacob Apperson of Hardinsburg,KY
Greg Apperson of Nashville, TN
Amy Beard of Fayetteville, Arkansas
Wendy Bloomfield of Elizabethtown,KY
Angie Patterson of Princeton,KY and Chris Hooper of Hopkinsville,KY
7 grandchildren - Clint, Paige, Candace, E J, Steven, Grant and Rebecca
several great grandchildren
 
A Memorial Mass was held on Friday, 2-13-2009 at St. Romuald Catholic Church 
with Fr. Tony Bickett officiating. Burial was in the St. Romuald Cemetery. At 
the request of Ron, there was no visitation. Memorial contributions are 
requested to: St. Romuald School 408 Highway 259 North   Hardinsburg,KY 40143  
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
