OBITUARY   Hubert Armes
     Herbert Armes, Westview, a retired farmer and merchant died at Breckinridge 
Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, Thursday, December 14, 1978, following a lengthy 
illness.  He was 74 years of age, the son of the late Joe Armes and Jane Laslie 
Armes, he was a member of the Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church and the 
Hudson Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Lillie Ree Armes
two sons:
Bobby Armes of Westview
Johnny Armes of McQuady
two sisters:
Mrs. Minnie Robinson of Kingswood
Mrs. Lura Carman of Locust Hill
two brothers:
Heber Armes of Harned
Virgil Armes of Harned
8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren
     The Reverend Leonard Flener conducted the funeral from the Rhodes Memorial 
United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Saturday.  Burial was in the Kingswood Cemetery 
with Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.
