OBITUARY   Herschel Armes  1924-2005
     Herschel Armes, age 80, of Falls of Rough, died Tuesday, November 8,2005 at 
his residence.  He was born December 29, 1924 in Breckinridge County, a son of 
the late Virgil and Letitia Shrewsberry Armes.  He was a retired electrician and 
farmer.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Renee Armes; brothers, 
Walter, Albert, and Ray Armes, and a sister, Imogene Armes.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mildred Payne Armes
five sons
four daughters
19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren
and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren
two brothers
two sisters
     Funeral services were held Friday, November 11, 2005 at Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg with Brother MacArthur Sosh officiating.  Burial was in the 
Kingswood Cemetery.
