Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Floyd Armes, age 92 of Harned,KY died Thursday, 2-19-2009 at Breckinridge 
Health,INC. He was born in Breckinridge County on 9-2-1916, the son of the 
late Virgil and Latitia Shrewsberry Armes. He was a retired carpenter and 
member of Kingswood Wesleyan Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Edna Armes
a brother - Herschel Armes and 2 half brothers - Albert and Walter Armes

Floyd is survived by his 2 sons - H.T. (Tommy) Armes and his wife Wanda of 
Harned,KY
Daniel B. (Danny) Armes and his wife Molly of Morristown,TN
1 brother - Lester Armes of Harned,KY
2 sisters - Ruelma Mattingly of Hudson,KY and Helen Mercer of Harned,KY
5 grandchildren: Rendell (Jenny) Armes
Rod (Cheryl) Armes
Christie (Kevin) Wissing
Bridget (Larry) Shartzer
Beverly (Joseph) Estes
2 step grandchildren: Jessica (Richard) Kriesen
Velma (Sergio) Resendiz
11 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 2-23-2009 at Kingswood Wesleyan 
Church at 11AM with Rev. Dee Ann Thompson and Rev. David Little officiating. 
Burial will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home from 3:30 - 8PM and after 8:30AM Monday. Memorial contributions 
are requested to: Kingswood Cemetery.
