OBITUARY
Wilbur (Jake) ARMES, age 81, of SeRee, Ky in Breckinridge County, died on 
Saturday, June 8, 1985 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, after a 
short illness.  He was born in Breckinridge County on June 9, 1903, a son of the 
late Chester and Lucy SMILEY ARMES.   He was preceded in death by a daughter, 
Mrs. Blanche MORRISON in 1975.  Surviving him are:
his wife, Mrs. Effie ARMES
one daughter:
Mrs. Mildred DENNIS of SeRee, Ky
one son:
Chester T. (Tom) ARMES of McDaniels, Ky (Breckinridge County)
one sister:
Mrs. Ora PILE of Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County)
one brother:
Gilbert ARMES of Hudson, Ky
     Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 1985 at the 
Fairview United Methodist Church with the Reverend Fred Goodwin and the Reverend 
Don Miller, officiating.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with the Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

Wilbur (Jake) ARMES has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church 
Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
