OBITUARY
Albert ARMES, age 74, of Hardinsburg, died Sunday, September 6, 1987, at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, after a lengthy illness.  He was 
born June 15, 1913 in Breckinridge County, a son of Virgil ARMES of Cloverport in 
Breckinridge County, who survives, and the late Maude CUNDIFF ARMES.  Surviving 
in addition to his father are:
his wife, Mrs Lelia ARMES
three daughters:
Mrs. Mary Frances BASHAM of Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County)
Mrs. Loretta STULL of Jacksonville, North Carolina (Onslow County)
Mrs. Carol Sue ROBINSON of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
four sons:
James Albert ARMES of Everett, Washington (Snohomish County)
Edward Eugene ARMES of Leitchfield, Ky
Virgil ARMES of Brandenburg, Ky
Albert Lee ARMES of Brandenburg, Ky
two sisters:
Mrs. Anna Helen MERCER of Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Ruelma MATTINGLY of Hudson, Ky
four brothers:
Walter ARMES of Hardinsburg, Ky
Floyd ARMES of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Lester ARMES of Harned, Ky
Herschel ARMES of Glen Dean, Ky (Breckinridge County)
16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. today (Wednesday, September 9, 1987) 
at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg with the Reverend MacArthur Sosh, 
officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Albert ARMES has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery at 
SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
