OBITUARY
Mrs. Effie ARMES, age 86, of SeRee, Ky in Breckinridge County, died Tuesday, 
September 8, 1987 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, in Hardinsburg, after a 
lengthy illness.  She was born in Breckinridge County on February 25, 1901, a 
daughter of the late Tom CARMAN and Della DRANE CARMAN.  Mrs. ARMES was preceded 
in death by her husband, Wilbur ARMES in 1985.  Surviving are:
one daughter:
Mrs. Mildred DENNIS of SeRee, Ky
one son:
Tom ARMES of McDaniels, Ky (Breckinridge County)
one sister:
Mrs. Ellen D. HARPER, a resident of the Hardinsburg Medco Center (Nursing Home)
9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren
5 step-great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild
     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 1987, at  
the Fairview United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Ron Miller and the 
Reverend George Allgood, officiating.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery 
with the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
