Janice Renee Askins, age 44 of Owensboro,KY died Monday, 1-12-2009 at 
Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Kingman, Arizona on 10-31-
1964. She formerly attended Island United Methodist Church, enjoyed time with 
her children and grandchildren, sewing and cooking.
 
She was preceded in death by her son - Michael Wayne Askins.
 
Janice is survived by her husband - Bobby Askins of Owensboro,KY
parents - Dale and Midge Edge of Hardinsburg,KY
children: Jill Renee Conrad of Stanley,KY
Charles M. Askins of Navarre,FL
Asher Wann, Robert Allen Askins and Whitney Askins of Owensboro,KY
8 grandchildren
2 brothers - Jamie Harrington of Florida
Lawrence Edge of Fordsville,KY
5 sisters - Pam Janecek of Hardinsburg,KY
Tammy Tucker of McDaniels,KY
Patty Williams of Florida
Stacey Edge of Bowling Green,KY
Cheryl Taul of Harned,KY. 

1 half brother - James Trinity Harrington of Henderson,KY
 
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 1-16-2009 at 11AM at Trent-Dowell 
Fuenral Home with Rev. Tom Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Ivy Hill 
Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8PM and after 8:30AM Friday.
