Obituary

John P. ASKINS, age 79 of 1323 Short Street, died at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, at 
Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.  Mr. ASKINS was born in Breckinridge 
County, and was a stationary fireman until he retired 10 years ago.  A member 
of the Holy Family Church.  Surviving are:
his wife, the former Mary BEAVIN
one son:
John E. ASKIN
three daughters:
Mrs. Susan M. SPAHR
Mrs. Seven (correct name.  I checked twice!) MOODY
Mrs. Lawrence VON BOKERN
one sister:
Mrs. Mary RIORDAN, Evansville, Indiana
one brother:
Carroll ASKIN, McQuady, Ky.

The funeral was held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Embry - Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 
Preston Highway.  Burial at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church Cemetery.
