She was married to Silas Taylor BANDY on April 23, 1895, who preceded her in death 30 years ago. To this union three children were born: George Glenn BANDY, who preceded her in death 16 years ago Nannie Maggie CHAPPELL of Big Spring, Ky Buren BANDY of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County), with whom she made her home. Also surviving are five step-children: The Reverend Thomas BANDY of Franklin, Ky (Simpson County) Shelby BANDY of Guston, Ky (Meade County) Mrs. Charles (Mary Alice) BLACK of Eldorado, Oklahoma (Jackson County) Mrs. Owen (Artie Missie) GILLINGWATER of Bewleyville, Ky (Breckinridge County) (notice only four children listed) 16 step-grandchildren; 25 step-great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. two sisters: Mrs. Bettie HICKS of Constantine, Ky (Breckinridge County) Mrs. Amelia PENICK of Independence, Kansas (Montgomery County) two brothers: Dr. E. C. HARNED of Louisville, Ky Ben F. HARNED of Custer, Ky (Breckinridge County) Mrs. BANDY became a Christian early in life, and lived a devoted member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Irvington until death. She was a devoted Mother, and loved by all who knew her. After death, the body was taken to the Manning Funeral Home (in Louisville), and prepared for burial, then brought to the home of her son, Buren BANDY where it remained until Sunday, May 26, and brought to Custer where the funeral was held in the Methodist Church, conducted by the pastor, the Reverend Frank Perkins, who delivered a splendid sympathetic sermon. Pallbearers were from Louisville, friends of the BANDY family, and fifteen flower girls, all great nieces. Singing was rendered by Mrs. Wesley HARRINGTON, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace BROWN, with Mrs. Tom MITCHAM at the piano. LONG Susan has a single tombstone Silas & Fannie's son, George Glenn Bandy 01 Apr 1896 -- 03 Mch 1930, died in a car accident in Louisville, Ky. He was 33 years old and married. (Death Certificate did not list his wife's name) He is buried at the Buck Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Meade County, Ky.
