Obituary

Guy R. BANDY, age 77, died Wednesday, October 12, 1960 at the home of his son, 
Elbert BANDY at Bewleyville (Breckinridge County), Ky.

The funeral services were held on Friday, October 14, 1960 at the Bewleyville 
Methodist Church with the Alexander Funeral Home of Irvington (Breckinridge 
County), Ky. in charge of arrangements.  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery on 
a hill overlooking the town of Irvington, Ky.  Pallbearers were his Masonic 
Brothers.

Mr. BANDY, a member of a prominent Breckinridge County family, was a son of 
the late Stevenson Richard and Sarah NICHOL BANDY.  A retired farmer, he spent 
his entire life in the Bewleyville Community.  In May 1908, Mr. Bandy was 
married to Miss Anna Mary COMPTON.  To this union were born three sons.  All 
THREE survive him and live at Bewleyville, Ky.  They are:
Elbert BANDY
Roy BANDY
Jesse BANDY
Mrs. Bandy died ten years ago.
Also surviving him are:
5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
one sister:
Mrs. Nora FOOTE, Rosenburg, Texas
a half brother, Joe BANDY died in 1933.

Guy and his wife, Anna have a tombstone.
