Obituary
MRS. SHELBY BANDY

Ida GILLINGWATER BANDY, daughter of the late Abel and Margaret GILLINGWATER,  
was born January 15, 1879 and died November 16, 1960 at age 81.  She married 
Shelby Lee BANDY on March 30, 1902.  To this union eleven children were born.  
Three children preceded her in death.  Surviving her are:
six daughters:
Mrs. Noah BOARD, Irvington (Breckinridge County), Ky.
Mrs. Otis McGINNIS, Louisville, (Jefferson County), Ky.
Mrs. Will C. DOOLEY, Louisville, Ky.
Mrs. Bertha SIPES, Lexington (Fayette County), Ky.
Mrs. Lennie KIRK, Evansville (Vanderburgh County), Indiana
Mrs. Ida SHELTON, Evansville, Indiana
two sons:
Wrather BANDY, Guston (Meade County), Ky.
Shelby Lee BANDY, Jr., Louisville, Ky.
25 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
six sisters:
Mrs. Ola MILLER, Louisville, Ky.
Mrs. David FARMER, Campbellsville, Ky.
Mrs. Will ROSS, Irvington, Ky.
Mrs. Lottie ROSS, Irvington, Ky.
Mrs. Fannie GODWIN, Irvington, Ky.
Mrs. Emma BRAMLETTE, Irvington, Ky.
one brother:
Owen GILLINGWATER, Irvington, Ky.

Mrs. Bandy was a member of the Bewleyville Methodist Church, where the funeral 
was held, directed by the Alexander Funeral Home of Irvington, and the burial 
was in the Bethel Cemetery, Bewleyville (Breckinridge County), Ky.

Ida and her husband Shelby have a tombstone, and I found a little daughter.
