Jesse O. Bandy, 88, of Irvington died
Wednesday Sept. 5, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Bandy was born September 20, 1923 to
the late Guy Roy & Annie Mary Bandy.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II,
a member of the Bewleyville United Methodist
Church where he faithfully attended without
missing Sunday for over fourteen years.  Mr.
Bandy retired from Civil Service at Fort Knox
where he was a manager at the commissary.
He also was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lorena
Madeline Dowell Bandy.
He is survived by his two daughters Donna
(Eugene) Paul of Irvington; Doris (Randall)
Priest of Hardinsburg; 5 grandchildren & 15
great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday Sept. 8,
2012 at 1:00 PM EDT at Alexander Funeral
Home in Irvington.
Visitation will be held Friday Sept. 7, 2012
from 2 to 9 PM EDT at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery
Expressions of sympathy maybe given to

United Methodist Church Fund.
