January 7, 1929 (Special) Mrs. Joseph BANDY died at her home near Bewleyville on Friday, January 4, 1929 of Influenza. Mrs. BANDY is the daughter of the late Mr & Mrs William NEAFUS of Meade County, Ky. In the year 1900, she married to Mr. BANDY. Surviving her are her husband and three children, Wathen, Louise, and Octavia BANDY. Another son, William BANDY, died some two years ago. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon, January 5, 1929 at the Irvington Baptist Church, where Mrs. BANDY was a loyal member. The cemetery book lists Joseph Bandy as "Joel" Bandy.
