OBITUARY
     Mrs. L. M. BASHAM died at the home of her son-in-law, S. E. McDANIEL 
Friday afternoon (January 2, 1920) at 2 p.m., after an illness extending 
over several weeks.  She was taken seriously ill with pneumonia last fall, 
but had recovered sufficiently to be considered out of danger until the 
first of last week when she suffered a relapse which resulted in her death.
     Lushie Morton MARRS was born at Custer, Breckinridge County, Kentucky 
on May 30th, 1853, where she grew to womanhood.  She was a member of the 
Presbyterian Church since childhood.  She was married to Ezra M. BASHAM 
October 1, 1874, and they moved to Wichita County on March 5, 1908.  Five 
boys and four girls were born to them, eight of whom survive.  They Are:
Mrs. John MORGAN of Hardinsburg, Ky
Betsey BASHAM of Hardinsburg, Ky
Frank BASHAM of Hardinsburg, Ky
Allie K. BASHAM of Hardinsburg, Ky
P. O. BASHAM of Coolidge, Hamilton County, Kansas
R. H. BASHAM of Marienthal, Wichita County, Kansas
W. J. BASHAM of Marienthal, Kansas
Mrs. S. E. McDANIEL of Leoti, Wichita County, Kansas
     The remains were taken to Kentucky for burial, and were accompanied by 
P. O. & R. H. BASHAM and Mrs. S. E. McDANIEL.
