OBITUARY

     Ura M. BASHAM, age 83, died suddenly at his Route 3, Hardinsburg home on 
Tuesday, May 12, 1981 at 5:30 p.m.  He was born June 12, 1897 in Hancock 
County, Ky, and was the son of the late William Allen BASHAM and Laura ANDERSON 
BASHAM.  He was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church, Star Route Cloverport, 
and a retired farmer.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Cora MATTHEWS BASHAM of Route 3, Hardinsburg
one daughter:
Mrs. Lawrence (Mildred) KEENAN of Star Route, Cloverport
one son:
Charles W. BASHAM of Route 3, Hardinsburg
two sisters:
Miss Myra BASHAM of Route 3, Hardinsburg
Mrs. Pearl MATTHEWS of Route 3, Hardinsburg
6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren
3 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Sunday, May 17, 1981 at the Pisgah Baptist Church.  
Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Harry L. Dhonau 
Funeral Home in Cloverport.
