OBITUARY

     Harold BASHAM, age 75 of Cloverport, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
February 7, 1997 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  He was 
born September 23, 1921 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late Marvin and 
Opal BARBEE BASHAM.
     He was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church, and an ARMY veteran of World 
War II; he was retired from the American Olean Tile Company where he had worked 
for 34 years as a Maintenance Superintendant and Electrician.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by:
two brothers, James W. BASHAM and Lewis C. BASHAM
a granddaughter, Shannon BASHAM STRASBURGER

He is survived by:
his wife, Virginia BASHAM of Cloverport
two sons
one brother, Bob BASHAM of Quakertown, Pennsylvania
2 grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Monday, February 10, 1997, at the Pisgah Baptist 
Church.  Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery.
