OBITUARY 
MRS. MARVIN BASHAM
     The funeral for Mrs. Marvin BASHAM was held on Saturday afternoon at the 
Pisgah Baptist Church near Cloverport.  Officiating was the Reverend Charles 
Turner, pastor, assisted by the Reverend Joe Wheatley.  The committal service 
took place in the New Pisgah Cemetery.

     Mrs. BASHAM passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 26, 1966, at the 
home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. James BASHAM of Cloverport, Ky., 
in Breckinridge County; where she had been visisting for several days.  She was 
71 years of age.
     Before her marriage she was Miss Opal Susan BARBEE.  She was the daughter 
of the late Burlson and Bettie WILSON BARBER (should be BARBEE).  
Surviving her are:
her husband, Marvin BASHAM
four sons:
James BASHAM of Cloverport, Ky
Lewis BASHAM of Cloverport, Ky
Harold BASHAM of Cloverport, Ky
Robert BASHAM of Lewisport, Ky
three sisters:
Mrs. S. R. KEENAN of Cloverport, Ky
Mrs. J. M. MARLOW of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Nell FUNK of Brandenburg, Ky
7 grandchildren
     She was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church, and was loved throughout the 
community where she had spent the greater part of her life.
