OBITUARY
     Hershel D. BASHAM, a 79 year old Westview resident of Breckinridge 
County, died on Saturday, November 17, 1990 at the Breckinridge Memorial 
Hospital in Hardinsburg, following a lengthy illness.  Mr. BASHAM was born on 
February 6, 1911 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late Burton BASHAM and 
Devada MEADOR BASHAM.
     He was retired from the State Highway Department, and was a retired 
farmer and carpenter.  His wife, Mrs. Anna BASHAM, preceded him in death on 
May 1, 1990.  He is survived by:
two sisters:
Ms. Catherine HALL of Hardinsburg, Ky
Ms. Edna FRANK of Garfield, Ky
one brother:
Morris BASHAM of Owensboro, Ky
and several nieces and nephews.
     The funeral was held on Monday, November 19, 1990 at the Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery with the 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Location:  Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Highway KY60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; Breckinridge 
County, Ky.
