OBITUARY
     Burton BASHAM, well-known farmer of the Harned Community in Breckinridge 
County, died at his residence on Thursday, May 17. 1956.  Mr. BASHAM was the 
son of the late Webb BASHAM and Sallie KENNEDY BASHAM.  Mr. BASHAM was a 
member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Modern Woodmen.
He is survived by:

Devada MEADOR BASHAM
two daughters:
Mrs. Catherine HALL of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Edna FRANK of Garfield, Ky
three sons:
Herschel BASHAM of Irvington, Ky Route 2
C. W. BASHAM of Irvington, Ky Route 2
Norris (should be Morris) BASHAM of Irvington, Ky Route 2
     Funeral services were held at Freedom Church on Sunday, May 20, 1956, 
with interment in the Freedom Cemetery.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Location:  Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Highway KY60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; Breckinridge 
County, Ky.
