Breckinridge County News; 5/3/1893
Mr. Frank Basham died at his home near Union Star, April 22nd, with dropsy.  Quite a
number of friends and relatives gathered at the little family cemetery Sunday
evening to pay their due respects and after a comforting talk and able prayer by Br.
E. P. Gardner his remains were laid to rest.  Mr. Basham was quite old.  He would
have been eighty-six in June.  The entire family, and especially the feeble and aged
mother, has our sincere sympathy.
