Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Earl Thomas Basham, age 75 of Harned, KY died Monday, 4-6-2009 at his 
residence. He was born in Breckinridge County on 10-17-1933, the son of the 
late James Alfred and Ida Carman Basham. He retired from Civil Service as an 
artillery mechanic. He was a member of Westview United Methodist Church and a 
Korean War veteran. Earl loved spending time with his family, riding 4-
wheelers and watching the news on television.
 
He is survived by his wife of 50 years - Marjorie Basham of Harned,KY
3 children: Dana (Allen) Wamble of Hardinsburg,KY
Darrell (Donna) Basham of Henderson,KY
Keri (Jarrod) Brockman of Harned,KY
8 grandchildren:Kasey (Robbie) Perry
Emily (Tyler) Harned
Brandon Murphy
Melissa Wamble
Krista Basham
Ian, Hayden and Brady Brockman
4 stepgrandchildren: Aaron Wamble
Brandon, Kristen and Kerri Chappell
3 great grandchildren: Mason, Gavin and Nolan Perry
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 4-8-2009 at 1PM at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Bourland and Bro. Mac Sosh officiating. Burial 
will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 4-8PM CDT and 
after 8:30AM CDT Wednesday. Memorial contributions are requested to: Westview 
United Methodist Church Building Fund.
