Obituary

Willaim J. BASHAM died Sunday, June 5, 1960.  The funeral was held on Tuesday 
at the Methodist Church.  Dowell Funeral Home of Hardinsburg (Breckinridge 
County), Ky. was in charge of arrangements, and burial was in Harned Cemetery.

Mr. Basham was born December 25, 1892, the son of Stephen Elijah and Lida 
RICHARDSON BASHAM.  He was first married to Miss Gertrude ALEXANDER, and to 
this union three children were born.  Mrs. BASHAM preceded him in death.  
Later he was married to Miss Elizabeth WRIGHT, and to this union, two children 
were born.  He was a member of the Harned Methodist Church.  He is survived 
by:
his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth BASHAM
one daughter:
Mrs. Earl (Lida Katherine) SHIVELY, Roanoke, Virginia
three sons:
W. J. BASHAM, Jr., Harned (Breckinridge County), Ky.
James BASHAM, Harned
Earl BASHAM, Harned
(Obituary says 4 granddaughters survive, but only list 3 granddaughters):
Linda Kay SHIVELY
Trudie Ann BASHAM
Alice Faye BASHAM
one brother:
Monroe BASHAM  (no residence given)
One daughter, Bessie Jean BASHAM preceded him in death.
