OBITUARY
     Edward Otis BASHAM, years a resident of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge 
County).  His death came suddenly from a heart attack, which he suffered on a 
farm in Hancock County, Ky where he was reared.  Mr. BASHAM was dead on arrival 
at Breckinridge County Hospital in Hardinsburg on Friday, January 27, 1967.
     He was born on May 11, 1896 in Hancock County, the son of Jerry and Ellen 
HIGGS BASHAM.  When a young man he married Miss Eva ROWLAND, who died 13 years 
ago.  He is survived by:

Miss Maxine BASHAM, Cloverport, Ky
two sons:
Aldewin BASHAM, Cloverport, Ky
Alton E. BASHAM, Cloverport, Ky
4 grandchildren
four brothers:
Harvey BASHAM, Hawesville, Ky  (Hancock County)
Ben BASHAM, Charlestown, Indiana  (Clark County)
Hilous BASHAM, Owensboro, Ky  (Daviess County)
Eugene BASHAM, Albuquerque, New Mexico  (Bernalillo County)
two sisters:
Mrs. Carrie CLARK, Evansville, Indiana  (Vanderburgh County)
Mrs. Louise WIGGINGTON (should be spelled WIGGINTON), Evansville, Indiana
     Mr. BASHAM retired three years ago from L&N Railroad Company.  He was a 
member of the Cloverport City Council, and Dukes Cumberland Presbyterian Church 
for years.
     Funeral services were held on January 29, 1967 from the Dhonau Funeral Home 
in Cloverport, and burial was in the family plot in Cloverport Cemetery.

Ky.  Edward was one of 16 children.
