OBITUARY
James Alfred BASHAM, age 81 of SeRee, Ky in Breckinridge County, died Thursday, 
May 24, 1984 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  A Breckinridge 
County native, he was born September 28, 1902, a son of the late Henry Thomas 
BASHAM and Celia SMILEY BASHAM.  He is survived by:
one daughter:
Lora Ellen KENNEDY of SeRee, Ky
one son:
Earl Thomas BASHAM of Hardinsburg, Ky
three sisters:
Cova SMILEY of SeRee, Ky
Curva NOTTINGHAM of Westview, Ky (Breckiridge County)
Clara GRAHAM of Madrid, Ky (Breckinridge County)
one brother:
Jester BASHAM of Radcliff, Ky (Hardin County)
9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild
     Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 1984 at the 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with the Reverend Gary Stevenson and the 
Reverend Fred Goodwin, officiating.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.

James Alfred BASHAM has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church 
Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
