He was ill a short time with pneumonia. He was 75 years old. Mr. BEAVIN had spent the entire time of his life on a farm near Hardinsburg, until recently moving to this place (Cloverport) to spend the rest of his days with his only daughter, Mrs. Robert T. POLK. Mr. BEAVIN was a pioneer and venerable old citizen. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was buried in the family burying ground near his old home. Additional Comments: Please note: Mrs. William BEAVIN died on October 21, 1899. (See her death notice). I did not find tombstones for Mr & Mrs BEAVIN in the Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991. However, I did find their daughter and husband, Mr and Mrs POLK. POLK, Lucy BEAVIN 1865 -- 1948 "Mother" POLK, Robert T. 1857 -- 1932 "Father" THEIR SON: POLK, Robert Jul 26 1893 -- Mar 10 1904 son of Robert T. & Lucy These are the only three POLK burials with tombstones in volume one cemetery book.
