Thomas "Ed" Belcher, age 69 of Hardinsburg, KY died Friday, June 19, 2009 at 
Jewish Hospital. He was born in Parksville, KY on September 21, 1939, the son 
of the late Walker and Effie Belcher. He was a retired teacher and principal 
of Cloverport Independent Schools, former basketball coach and retired ranger 
for the Corps of Engineers. He loved spending time with his family, especially 
his grandchildren, sports and fishing.
 
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers - Carlos, Glenn, Melvin and Walker 
Belcher
 
Ed is survived by his wife - Paige Belcher of Hardinsburg,KY
3 children: Scott Belcher of Hardinsburg,KY
Trena (Kevin) Riecki of Owensboro,KY
Marcia (Wayne) Hack of Hardinsburg, KY
5 wonderful grandchildren: Dillon, Dustin, Amanda, Denver & Addison Riecki
2 sisters - Mae Presley of Parksville,KY and Lena Ely of Danville, KY
 
Funeral services will  be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Rev. Neville Green officiating. Burial  in the McQuady 
Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 4 - 8PM and after 8:30AM Tuesday.Memorial 
contributions are requested to: Breck.Co. Relay for Life.
