JOKE ENDS FATALLY

Cloverport Man Takes Pill For Fun and Later Dies.

Cloverport, Ky..  Jan. 4. - 

Scott Bell, of this county, died at his home at Stephensport this morning.  His
death was caused from a pill he took as a joke on November 15.  The mixture effected
him so he could eat nothing and he literally starved to death.  He also had throat
trouble.

Mr. Bell was fifty-two years of age and leaves a wife and four children.  He was
born near Hradinsburg.  The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon.
