OBITUARY
     Other BENNETT, age 83 of Custer in Breckinridge County, died on Friday, 
January 2, 1970 at Breck-Haven Nursing Home, Hardinsburg.  He was born in 
Custer on April 15, 1886.  He is survived by:
one son:
Melvin BENNETT of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County)
one daughter:
Mrs. Virginia TRIPLETT of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
2 grandchildrn; 4 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 4, 1970 from the Custer 
United Methodist Church, under the direction of the Dowell Funeral Home, 
Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Custer Cemetery.
