OBITUARY

     Mr. Mose BENNETT, aged 75 years, died at his home at Corners on Saturday, 
January 22, 1944, after an illness of two weeks of heart trouble.
     Mr. Bennett was a farmer, and was born September 14, 1868, and lived most 
all his life in the same community.
     He was twice married.  His marriage was to Mrs. L. Linnie Pierce.  He is 
survived by:

his daughter:
Mrs. Sadie HOLMES of Louisville, Ky
two brothers:
V. D. BENNETT of Hardinsburg, Ky
T. H. BENNETT of Big Spring, Ky  (believe T.H. is incorrect)
     Mr. BENNETT was a member of the High Plains Methodist Church, and a fine 
Christian gentleman.
     Funeral services were held at the home Sunday at 2 p.m., conducted by the 
Reverend LaFon assisted by the Reverend Lyle.  Burial was in the Dowell 
Cemetery.  J. D. Ashcraft was the Funeral Director in charge.
