Mrs. Sallie Bennett Lives To Be Eighty-Seven ------- Mrs. Sallie A Bennett, widow of Mr. John Bennett, and a member of one of Breckinridge County's most prominent families, passed away Monday morning at her late residence in Stephensport, Ky. Asthma and complication of diseases caused her death, her illness being of three months duration. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and the body was interred in the Stephensport cemetery. Rev. Harvey English held the services. With Mrs. Bennett during her last illness was her daighter-in-law, Mrs. Abner Bennett with whom she lived and the only surviving member of the family. Mrs. Bennett had three children all of whom preceed her in death, and she is the last of her immedeate family. Mrs. Bennett was born in September 1840. She spent the greater part of her life in Stephensport, the place of her nativity. For a number of years she was properitor of a private boarding house in that place. Mrs. Bennett was a woman of superior intellect and character and during her long useful life she endeared a countless number of friends.
