OBITUARY
     Hubert Howard Bennett, a 76 year old Harned resident, died at 2:35 a.m. on 
Tuesday, June 16, 1987, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  Mr. 
Bennett was born in Hudson on June 7, 1911, a son of the late George A. and Maude 
A. Harris Bennett.  He was retired as a foreman at Boatwright Field Maintenance, 
Fort Knox, a member of the Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church, a member of 
Hardinsburg Lodge #67 F&AM, and a 32nd degree York Rite Mason.
A daughter, Yandell Bennett and a grandson, Glen Robinson, preceded him in death.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Julia Pauline Shrewsbury Bennett
one daughter
three sons
12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a step-great grandchild
     The funeral was held on Thursday, June 18, 1987, from the chapel of the 
Poole-Willoughby Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in Kingswood Cemetery 
where Masonic graveside services were held.
