Hardinsburg-- 

Van Dorn Bennett born January 10, 1865, died August 8, 1945, age 80 years, 6 
months, 28 days.  He was the son of John and Mary Trent Bennett.  He married 
Miss Almeda Roberts Sept. 26, 1888.  funeral services at the home at 2:30 
o'clock Friday, Aug. 10, 1945, by Rev. James S. Curry.  Burial in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery Irvington, Ky.  J.D. Ashcraft, Funeral Director.

This is one of several obituaries my g-grandmother cut out and pasted in a 
scrapbook.
